Vacuum measurement and control in the range of
1100 - 1 mbar (hPa)
The Vacuum Network Controller VNC 1 provides vacuum measurement and control within the range from 1100 to 1 mbar. It operates with vacuum pumps or valves. Particularly with VARIO and VARIO-SP vacuum pumps, precise vacuum process control can be achieved. A cooling water valve can be operated too, e.g. for an exhaust vapour condenser. The parts of the gauge head in contact with media are made of stainless steel and fluoroelastomer, the pressure transducer is made of alumina ceramic. The VNC 1 is also available as a built-in version for integration into lab furniture.
The Vacuum Network Controller VNC 1 is especially optimized for application dependent control of vacuum pumps in local vacuum networks.
There are five modes of operation:
Pressure control
Two set point control of a vacuum pump, a vacuum line valve or pinpoint-precision vacuum control with a VARIO Diaphragm Pump
Continuous pumping
Control of a vacuum pump or motor speed control (VARIO)
VACUU•LAN®
Control of a VARIO Diaphragm Pump and/or on/off control of a vacuum line valve or a vacuum pump, according to a specified vacuum level or timing, for fully automatic control of a vacuum network
Monitoring
Control of a vacuum pump or a vacuum line valve according to specifications for min./max. pressure and shutdown time. Typical processes: aspiration, filtration, vacuum drying
