Electronics technician for devices and systems

Electronics technicians for devices and systems plan electronic circuits, draw up circuit diagrams and the associated layouts on the computer and make prototypes of the circuit boards. It is also their job to create simple mechanical constructions that serve as fixtures for the electronic components. To this end they learn the properties and functionalities of electronic units and their application. With advancing levels of integration also comes the increasing need for knowledge of machine oriented programming languages. Finally they conduct measurements of assemblies to assure faultless functionality. It is also their job to perform maintenance and repairs on the devices.
