Note on the disposal of used batteries

If used batteries are not disposed of properly, the harmful substances they contain can cause damage to the environment or health. Batteries and rechargeable batteries also contain important raw materials that can be reused through recycling. Persons who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell them in the form in which they were supplied (end users) are therefore obliged to dispose of the batteries properly after use.

Taking back used batteries free of charge
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries. You can return used batteries either to municipal collection points or to your local retailer. As a distributor of products with built-in batteries, we are also obliged to take back used batteries, whereby our obligation to take back batteries is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried in our product range. You can either send such used batteries back to us with sufficient postage or return them directly to our dispatch warehouse at the following address free of charge:

Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by mass.
