Gold and silver status in EcoVadis sustainability rating

Gold and silver for the Brand Group: BRAND and VACUUBRAND from Wertheim and VITLAB from Großostheim achieved outstanding results in the independent sustainability rating of the EcoVadis evaluation platform:
- BRAND was awarded gold status for its sustainability activities in 2023. This places it among the top 5% of comparable companies. BRAND had already participated in the rating scheme in 2022 where it was awarded silver status.
- VACUUBRAND and VITLAB also took part in the EcoVadis rating in 2023 to present their sustainability measures to a wider public for the first time. This step was immediately rewarded with silver status, placing them amongst the top 25% of comparable companies.
With more than 300 evaluation criteria including not only climate and environmental protection, but also good working conditions, ethical behavior and sustainable procurement, BRAND, VACUUBRAND and VITLAB achieve above-average results in all areas. The consistent reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in recent years contributed to the good rating, as did flexible, family-friendly working time models and increasingly sustainable procurement.
